Hokusai Geisha...depends on how you look at it.

I love this axe-wielding geisha by Hokusai. There is a lot of energy in the eccentric shapes, angles and patterns of her body and the fabric.  I thought it would interesting to crop a piece, rotate it,  and see how the composition changes depending on the orientation of the image.
